Hello to everyone on his lovely cold winters Sunday. Hope you are all out having fun and enjoying life to the fullest until work tomorrow !!!!

As per normal things have been going up and down for the kennel in the last week or so.

The highlight was the return to racing after injury of SECOND EDITION. He scored a workmanlike victory on Wednesday in a grade 5 heat in a good 30.25. The dog is stillnot quite right but she be there in the next couple of weeks. His next run is on Monday from the Red and will start a short priced favorite to continue his good strikerate.

SOLUTION PRINCE also ran a nice race on Wednesday leading by 6 down the back but then run down
to be beaten a couple. This dog certainly struggles to run out the 515m !! Monday also saw MIGHT FLY from the 1 box run a nice race for fourth but pulled up sore and was scratched from Thursday night.

This week we have SECOND EDITION running on Monday at ANGLE PARK - he is the best dog in the field but he only wins every second start and so he is due to miss. He will no doubt start a very warm favorite.
Tuesday at Gawler we have EVYS TOKEN in a 3/4/5 643m race and she should run a place but will struggle to beat EMERLEY TREND.

YOU SEXY THING for TEAM BUNDY is on the lookout for a little luck - if she gets it will go alright. SOLUTION PRINCE is a reserve in a very hard Graduation and will struggle. JEPADA comes back once again and will exit the pink in the last event. She is always worth a tote ticket and with a little luck will go okay also.

If anyone is looking to get into dogs etc One of my syndicates has a lovely pup for sale at a very reasonable price. TheMalleeBoyz are selling a pup by LETHAL WEAPON X POETIC CHOICE. The sire is a track record holder and is a litter brother to BIG DADDY COOL. POETIC CHOICE comes from a top litter than included a MATURITY winner (vic). She herself won a couple of races on Melbourne city track Sandown. The black pup is 3 months of age ready to go and the price is a reasonable 1200. If interested just email me.

Big increase in prizemoney in SA - 16% - of course the powers that be are praising themselves for it but the total package is financed by a reduction of Tax from betting turnover from the SA GOVT. No increase comes from anything the BENTLY REPORT has come up with in regard to recommendations re administration/prizemoney distributions. In fact they were beating themselves on the chest about Gawler prizemoney when in fact we are now going to get the same prizemoney there as we got there 10 years ago !!! How can people survive on this inadequate amount !!

Sad news we hear that GEOFF RYLES, potential top dog will probably never race again after injuring a tendon trialling in sydney the other day. The dog has some amazing ability and to happen to new owners before the dog had reached its promise is certainly a kick in the guts for the family. Having been in the game so long, I know what its like as i have had my guts kicked many a time -I dont really know why i am still going !!!

SERGEANT SURFERwho we relocated into Vic the other week made its debut at Bendigo and ran a nice 3rd. Others that may be going will include our favorite HELMSMAN who has battled problems in relation to hocks for a few months. Newcomer to kennel is TEAM BUNDY Dog GOTTA BE HAPPY.

SECOND EDITIONS half brother is also coming into town from QLD this week - this one broke in as quick as SE but hopefully being by top IRISH IMPORT PREMIER FANTASY will show a lot more out of the boxes - owner ALFIE however has also taken the tough ride with his other dog NO EXCESS who is on last legs despite never having raced in his owners colours.
